Berlin Sluggers add two third-division Players

The promoted Berlin Sluggers have added two promising players to the roster, which played for the third-division club Berlin Roadrunners in 2010. The 19-year-old Iwan Galkin is a pitcher who went 8-3 with an ERA of 3.08 in 16 games. He struck out 83 batters in 76 innings, walking 54. The 26-year-old Felix Schwarzbauer is a catcher/infielder who batted .362/.464/.565 with two homeruns, 19 runs and 16 RBI in 22 games. The Sluggers open the 2011 season in the German Baseball-Bundesliga with a doubleheader on the road against the Dortmund Wanderers.
