Belgium wins 4-Nations Tournaments behind Antonacci’s 11 K’s
The Belgian National Team won the 4-Nations-Tournament in Wanze, Belgium on Monday. The defeated the British Team 4-0. Terence Antonacci pitched six shutout innings, while allowing just four hits and two walks. He struck out eleven.
The offense started fast and chased Great Britain starter Jeff Motti out of the game in the second frame. Kevin Knollenburg was 2-for-2 with two RBI. Filip Vander Meiren scored twice. Brant Ust had three of the five British hits.
In the morning, the Quebec All Stars took third place, winning 7-3 against the Belgian Int’l All Stars.
