A few days before the season start in Switzerland, the ZURICH BARRACUDAS introduced a new infielder. Charles Brown from Pasadena, California joins the club for 2008. He is 22 years old and was born in Michigan, but lives now on the west coast.

The past two years he played for the BETHANY COLLEGE (NAIA Division I) in Kansas. Brown batted a combined .360 (SLG .439) with 13 doubles, four triples, one homerun, 79 runs scored, 57 RBI and 44 stolen bases in 96 games in 2006 and 2007.

He is going to be the new leadoff hitter for the team. The BARRACUDAS open the new season on Saturday against the WIL DEVILS.
