The fan website of the FC BARCELONA Bateando reports that Jesus Golindano had successful knee surgery. Hindered by the problems all year long he finally was relieved from the pain. He is expected to start his rehabilitation soon and should be back at full strength at the beginning of next year’s season.
The former prospect in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization came to the FCB last winter. It was already his fifth year in Spain, having played also for CB SANT BOI. Golindano batted .400 (OBP .474/SLG .496) with eleven doubles, 27 runs scored and 24 RBI in 30 games for the runner up in the Spanish Division de Honor this season.
