Balashikha and MGPU in Russian Baseball Finals

The Russian Baseball season is in its final phase. The Balashikha Tornado and MGPU-SYOS-42 will play the final series (best of 5) for the Russian Championship starting on October 5th. Balashikha Tornado has qualified for the finals by winning the regular season and MGPU won the qualifying best of five series against CSC VVS Balashikha with 3-1 (0-2, 9-7, 8-1,16-10).

CSC VVS Balashikha will compete with Moskvich for the bronze medal also in a best of 5 series. Moskvich who ended up in 4th place during the regular season had to play the best team of the 2nd League to stay in the 1st Russian League. Moskvich won the series 3-1 (4-1, 11-1, 1-11, 11-5)
