For France, Neven Dominguez led the way with two hits. France’s pitching of Yoan Antonac, Victor Jeamot, Alexi Mendy and Julien Lardeux held the Czechs to two runs. For Czech Republic, Filip Claus had two hits, including the game-tie RBI single in the eighth. The pitching of Jan Obst, Pavel Sramek, Krystof Kozac and Martin Kalabek limited the France scoring.

For Germany, Sascha Koch got the start and Daniel Mendelsohn was very effective in relief. The Dutch countered with Nick Keur and Timo Van Lingen. The big hit in the game came courtesy of Odion Schoobaar in the 4th. His 2-RBI double off Koch proved to be the difference.
