The Australian Baseball Federation finalized and published the Olympic qualifier roster on their website. They are missing several of their biggest stars, as pitcher Travis BLACKLEY, infielder Brad HARMAN and outfielder Justin HUBER are currently in Major League Spring Training camps. 13 of the 24 players are younger than 25 years.
It is going to be a tough tournament for the silver medallist of Athens 2004. They finished in sixth place at Baseball World Cup in November. Their biggest rivals for one of the three spots should be South Korea, Canada and Mexico. They are facing Germany in the opener of the Qualifier on Friday.
