The Atlanta Braves released Spanish minor leaguer Alejandro Sanchez last week. The 20-year-old infielder from Valencia played two seasons in the Gulf Coast League for the MLB organization, batting .188/.250/.229 with nine hits, nine runs, three RBI and four stolen bases in 24 games.
