MONTPELLIER BARRACUDAS’ Anthony Cros received a scholarship for the Northwestern Oklahoma State University, which covers the majority of the registration fees and living expenses. He will get an opportunity to continue his business studies there and will join the Baseball program there. The outfielder is transferring from the Canadian Thompson Rivers University, where he studied and played Baseball since 2004.
In 2008 he hit .349 (OBP .412/SLG .477) with 33 runs scored and 35 RBI in 46 games. He later joined the Western Major Baseball League to play summer ball and batted .319 (.474/.387) with 36 runs and 19 RBI in 34 games for the OKOTOKS DAWGS. He also played four games for the BARRACUDAS in the French Elite League.
