The Baseball-Bundesliga returns for another game day this weekend. Besides two doubleheader on Saturday, all the action is scheduled for Sunday.
In the north the CAPITALS and the CARDINALS will probably decided the outcome for third place in the conference standings this weekend. They will play in Cologne. The CARDS lost surprisingly twice last week and dropped two games behind the CAPS in the standings. However, they had won the first two matches in the season series. We can expect two interesting games.
In the south, nearly each week we see thrilling duels. This time the second-ranked HEIDEKOEPFE clash with the TORNADOS, which are in third. If HEIDENHEIM can win at least one of the two games, they should secure practically second place and home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. In the second part of the doubleheader, the fans will eventually see the rematch between Mike Hartley and Eddie Aucoin. On April 20 both teams split the first twin bill in Mannheim. Both games were decided by a run.
