L&D AMSTERDAM completed its sweep in the Holland Series against CORENDON KINEHEIM with a 12-0 shutout. The PIRATES scored five runs in the first two innings, and put runs on the board in six of the seven to win easily by ten-run rule. They pounded out 21 hits in the game to fulfill the upset against the reigning Dutch and European Cup champion. The national TV station NOS again was on scene and Charley Urbanus comments the highlights in the six-plus minute clip.
AMSTERDAM had won the first two matches 4-3 and 6-3 in the best-of-five series.
