Alex Liddi returns to Venezuelan Winter League

After a long season in the United States, Alex Liddi isn’t done playing, as he is returning to the Venezuelan Winter League. The Italian third baseman has joined the Cardenales de Lara and already went deep. He collected three hits so far, two of them for extra bases, in 19 at-bats through six games. He went .259/.332/.488 with 30 homeruns, 121 runs and 104 RBI in 138 games in Triple-A and later .225/.295/.525 with three homeruns, seven runs and six RBI in 15 games for the Seattle Mariners.
