It took Alex Liddi just six games to hit his first homerun in his Major League Baseball career. Called up at the beginning of September the Italian third baseman of the Seattle Mariners went deep for a two-run shot on Monday in a 12-6 win over the Cleveland Indians. He was 2-for-4 with two runs scored overall. He is now 3-for-16 with a walk, the homerun, a double, three runs scored and two RBI in six games for the Mariners.
