On June 12th, 1939 the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York opened its doors, three years after Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Christy Mathewson and Walter Johnson were elected to the Hall of Fame. Since its dedication 70 years ago 350,000 people visit the Hall of Fame each year and look into world’s greatest baseball collection. I actually visited the baseball hall of fame last week and they had a great museum with lots of information. Definitely a must for the fanatic baseball fan.
