2010 in Review – Spanish Division de Honor – El Llano

We are right in the middle for our annual season reviews of European Baseball. We already looked to Italy, the Netherlands and Germany. Now the Spanish Division de Honor is at the plate.

El Llano

2010 Record: 1-35
2010 Ranking: 10th place in Division de Honor. After nearly dropping out of the championship during the winter, the Gijon based El Llano won just one game all season (against Valencia Astros) to finish in tenth place, getting relegated.
Runs Scored: 58 (10th)
Runs Allowed: 471 (10th)

Best Batter: Elvis Polanco. He batted .406 (OBP .446/SLG .536) with four runs and twelve RBI in 69 at-bats through 23 games (22 starts) this season.
