2010 in Review – French Elite League – Paris UC

We are in the middle of our annual season review series of the European Baseball leagues. After Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain, we are going to take a look at the French Elite League.

Paris UC

2010 Record: 7-23 (including playdowns)
2010 Ranking: 7th place in French Elite League. In their return to the head class in French Baseball record champion Paris UC had to settle for seventh place.
Runs Scored: 119 (7th)
Runs Allowed: 275 (7th)

Best Batter: Douglas Rodriguez. He batted .366 (OBP .438/SLG .521) with three triples, five doubles, twelve runs and eleven RBI in 22 games (16 starts) this year.
Best OPS: Douglas Rodriguez .959
Most Home Runs: Benjamin Deruelle 1
Most RBI: Nicolas Dubaut 16
Most Runs Scored: Benjamin Deruelle 14
Most Stolen Bases: Douglas Rodriguez 4

Best Pitcher: Mike Lynn. He made only five starts this season, going 0-4 with an ERA of 3.90 and 36 strikeouts (21 walks) in 30 innings. He was the only regular pitcher on the staff with an ERA below 7.03.

Best ERA Reliever: Nicolas Dubaut 7.03 (had five starts and five relief appearances)
