The first of two playoff tournaments for next year’s edition of the European Cup is starting on Friday, September 12. Dinamo (Romania), KNTU (Ukraine) and AVG Draci Brno (Czech Republic) are competing for one spot in 2008. The three-day event takes place on the home field of Draci Brno, which fights against relegation after finishing in sixth place at the European Cup in Regensburg in June. Dinamo and KNTU won their qualifiers in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria and Brest, Belarus. The second playoff is scheduled for the next weekend in Antwerp (Belgium).
